ENG Sports Elite Performance Athlete Daisy Lees has been selected for the England Roses Academy Squad after a successful trial. The mid-court star has had an incredible couple of months after winning countless national titles at a club and Franchise level, being awarded with MVP awards and now topping it all off with the announcement she will be apart of the England Roses setup.

Our Elite Athlete Performance Programme has supported Daisy since 2019. She impressed in our debut U12 netball national cup event, where she captained Tameside NC to regional & national success. Her performance on the court was incredible and we as a company quickly decided we wanted to be apart of her netball journey going forward.

Since 2019, Daisy has joined Kingsway Power which was set up by her former Tameside NC coach Lauren Palmer. She captains Kingsway Power and has enjoyed success at a national level playing in private and England Netball national championships. Her performances at these events have earned her numerous MVP awards and she recently enjoyed success at a Franchise level winning the 2021 School Games with Manchester Thunder.

Our support gives Daisy the opportunity to access funding so she can enhance her ability to access opportunities to improve her performances whether that be in the way of the purchase of equipment, accessing coaches who can help with her strength and conditioning or engaging in training programmes. We also help build her profile online by way of social media which helps gives her a platform to showcase her talents to a wider audience.

We are incredibly proud of Daisy and can't wait to see how she progresses in the future.

Well done Daisy
