ENG NETBaLL W j.jpg

ENG Sports UK are always looking to motivate young athletes through our events and workshops. Over the last couple of years we have immersed ourselves within the youth netball world to provide a service that makes playing the sport more enjoyable and rewarding.

One of our main focusses is being able to offer opportunities for every netballer who loves competing in a competitive environment. Our leagues & competitions does a great job at engaging young netballers in competitive environments, but this 2021/22 season we want to bring those athletes away from their comfort zone of playing within their teams and get them to compete within our workshops.

Our ENG workshop programme gives everyone the opportunity to compete and start their very own process of winning within our private events. To make this process more rewarding we will offering everyone who attends our workshops through-out the 2021/22 season the chance to win a VIP trip to the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham to watch a netball game.

Why get involved?

  • Opportunity to improve your game

  • Learn how to be competition ready

  • Play alongside like minded players

  • Compete at a national championships

  • Win a VIP trip to Commonwealth Games

How does it work?

When signing up to a ENG workshop your child will train and prepare to compete in a competition inside the workshop. Teams will be built by the coach to make them as fair as possible and the winning team of the workshop will proceed to our All Star National Finals on June 25th/26th. Once at the national finals all winning teams will compete to become the national champions of their selected workshops and then the winning teams of that process will compete to become the All Star National Champions and they will win the trip to the Commonwealth Games.

What does the prize include?

  • Tickets to watch a netball game

  • One night hotel stay

  • Celebratory meal the night before the game they attend

  • Travel to and from the Arena

Who will supervise them?

ENG staff members will chaperone the winning teams through-out the stay.

What ages are the workshops open to?

The workshops will be for two age categories, which will be 11-12yrs & 13-14yrs.

How do I get my child involved?

Always check out the link to our netball performance workshop page and it will provide details of the workshops we have planned through-out each school half term.

If my child wins a half term workshop, can she still compete in another?

Yes, the only issue that might arise will be if their team reaches the nationals and play each other, they will then have decide what team to represent.
