Kingsway Power dominated the ENG U13-U15 Netball Cup Knock Out Finals with wins over the Oaksway NC and Grangetown NC to make it their third ENG national title of the season. What made the win even sweeter for the U13 team is that they recorded a historic treble, with a league title, YNPL Grand Finals victory and Cup win, making them one of the greatest teams ever to grace a ENG netball court.

Kingsway Power U13 came into this competition knowing a win would make it a hat trick worth of titles within the ENG netball structure this season. Their first game against 5 Ways NC was won in ruthless fashion and they sailed into the semi finals. With the draw being done at random at the side of the court, they were pitted against Eagles NC who they had won against in the ENG U13 YNPL Grand Finals back in April in a breathtaking final and everyone was expecting another close game. As the tie got underway Kingsway Power gave up procession on their first centre pass and Eagles had the chance to create an early lead for themselves, but unfortunately for Eagles this was going to be one of the only mistakes Kingsway made and after overturning the ball almost immediately went on to produce a near perfect performance to convincingly win the tie and set up a final against Oaksway who had just won a classic encounter against Ryland in their semi final game.

Oaksway knew with Kingsway Power in this form it was going to be difficult to win the final. They started well though and forced errors through-out a competitive opening quarter. As usual the Kingsway Power speed of play wore down the North East side and the tie was won by Kingsway Power and a historic ENG treble was completed.

With the focus being on the U13 team the Kingsway Power U15 quietly went about their work in typical ruthless fashion. Their opening against Stratford Thunderbirds was a very one sided victory and it set up a final against Grangetown NC. With it being Grangetown U14 side the odds were stacked against them, but they performed superbly against KWP in the opening two quarters to make sure the game stayed competitive. In the end KWP won the tie and recaptured a trophy they had won in the previous season in the U14 event last season.
