TAMESIDE NC WIN U12 NATIONAL FINAL

Tameside NC won the first ever ENG U12's Netball Cup National Finals after a 9-5 win against Turnford NC in the final. The team from Manchester dominated the event from start to finish and memorised the 450 strong crowd with truly breathtaking movement and passing skills.

CHESTER COMPLETE THE ROAD TO LIVERPOOL

Chester Tigers won the ENG U14’s Netball Cup National Finals after a thrilling final against Hatfield NC. With the score being 4-2 at half time the team from the North East had to dig deep to secure a 8-5 win and become the first ever ENG U14’s Netball Cup National Champions. The victory also meant they completed the Road to Liverpool and will enjoy a VIP weekend away watching the Netball World Cup.

TAMESIDE ROCKING THE NETBALL WORLD

Tameside NC became the ENG U16's Netball Cup National Champions after an unforgettable day at the national finals held at the Essex Sports Arena on December 8th. The Manchester-based team overcame tough opposition to secure the first-ever ENG U16's Netball Cup title which also meant they qualified for the ENG U16's Netball Super Cup in Gibraltar on February 16th.

TAMESIDE WIN ENG SUPER CUP

Tameside NC won the first-ever ENG U16 Netball Super Cup after a 53-16 win against Gibraltar U16. This victory capped off an incredible 6 months for the Manchester-based side who started their journey at our northern finals where they came runners up and then went on to win the nationals in December.

POOLE NC WIN 2020 U12 NATIONALS

Poole NC won the 2020 ENG U12 Netball Cup after they defeated Turnford NC 11-6 in the final. The team from Dorset became the first club outside our northern events to lift an ENG Netball Cup trophy after an incredible performance through-out our regional and national competitions which showcased their ability to stay calm and composed in a competition designed to create an unforgiving environment for the teams competing.

ONLINE EVENTS A SUCCESS

We are in uncertain times with sport being one of the biggest casualties of the Corona Virus outbreak. After a few weeks of letting the news of the lockdown set in we at ENG Sports UK couldn't just sit back and let athletes miss out on not taking part in any form of competition over a period where competition in the netball world is at its peak.

DAISY & LIBBY WIN MVP TITLES

Daisy Hudson and Libby Canham were crowned the ENG Online Netball Cup MVP's after they both showed nerves of steel to be victorious in what was a highly intense competition watched by nearly a thousand people online.

DAISY BECOMES A ROSE!

ENG Sports Elite Performance Athlete Daisy Lees has been selected for the England Roses Academy Squad after a successful trial. The mid-court star has had an incredible couple of months after winning countless national titles at a club and Franchise level, being awarded with MVP awards and now topping it all off with the announcement she will be apart of the England Roses setup.

ENG MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT 2021

With all the disruption to the sports industry in 2021 ENG Sports UK still managed to put on some amazing competitions and events which helped young athletes maintain the motivation to continue working hard and being enthusiastic about the sport they love.

YWCA BURY WIN U16 NATIONALS

YWCA Bury NC won the ENG U16 Netball Cup 2022 National Finals after an incredible win over Kingsway Power in the final to confirm their status as the queens of the ENG netball structure and also make it three wins out of three competing at our events over the past year.

ALL STAR CAPTAINS NAMED

The world's first youth netball All Star National Final is nearly upon us and we finally get to see on June 25th who will be the All Star National Champions and win a VIP trip to the Commonwealth Games. The common theme of the winning teams within our workshops was having great leaders and this will be pivotal factor in determining who will come out on top in this race to finish the Road to Birmingham.

KINGSWAY POWER WIN U11 NATIONALS

Kingsway Power U11 were crowned queens of England after defeating Leeds Athletic 11-6 in the final to be the first team to ever win this event. It was a relatively stress free day for the Cheshire based side who only encountered a little pressure when Leeds Athletic started well in the opening half of their game. This win took the clubs tally to five wins within our leagues and national final structures this season.

MAVERICKS WIN ALL STAR NATIONALS

ENG Mavericks completed the Road To Birmingham after a tremendous performance at the debut ENG All Star National Finals. The team who won our Gold Cup London workshop way back in October were in fine form through-out this event and won the final 9-7 against another Gold Cup winning workshop ENG Thunder.

KWP WIN U16 NATIONALS

Kingsway Power recorded their 5th ENG national title victory after winning the U16 Netball Cup National Finals at the Platt Lane Sports Complex In Manchester. They came into the event as strong favourites and had to dig deep on several occasions on their way to becoming the national champions and qualifying for our ENG Netball Super Cup Finals against Wales national side.
